Wyrvask was the second Wyrmgod to awaken, and is frequently referred to as the Wyrmgod of Balance due to its dedication to keeping Talveria in order. If an Elder Wyrm is interfering too much with Talveria's native mortals, it sends one of its own after it, if a population of any form of life is dwindling, it grants aid through its lesser Wyrms, if a group of people is subjugated by another, it not only sends its lesser Wyrms out to liberate them, it physically manifests itself to inspire the people it is freeing. Because of this, it is loathed by the Wyrmgod of Control — Iovien.
It is also involved with Draalskot, preventing it from physically manifesting while Asmorium attempts to discover what exactly has taken over its mind. While it does not agree with many of Asmorium's methods of uncovering knowledge, it is no doubt the most reliable Wyrmgod when it comes to this sort of thing. While Vengosa is known to visit its Domain from time to time, Wyrvask rarely speaks to it, in fact feeling somewhat unsettled by it. While it is capable of using its Unending Gaze to see all who reside in Talveria and the Wyrmgod Domains, Vengosa is entirely unaffected, as is its domain. Wyrvask also cannot set its Gaze upon areas affected by Vengosa's shadow, something that concerns it greatly.
Drawn in 2024
I originally designed Wyrvask back in 2021 and it hasn't changed much physically, though its personality was very different back then. It was the Wyrmgod of Judgement and was significantly more dangerous to Talveria's mortals, any who caught its eye would be destined to die no matter what. I still kept some of the eye stuff, now it is capable of seeing nearly anything on Talveria no matter where it is physically located. When designing it, I was inspired by bulls and how powerful they are, so I wanted Wyrvask to be physically imposing. I've always depicted it as being a knuckle walker, over the years of drawing it, my ability to draw monsters that stood like that has improved greatly.
