Sometimes referred to as the Wyrmgod of Mystery in unofficial material, Vengosa was only recently discovered to be the third Wyrmgod to awaken, just a few years after the awakening of Wyrvask. It is incredibly poorly understood, as no mortal has been able to speak to it. However, it is known to have spoken to the other Wyrmgods, but even they know very little about it. Every twenty-five years, it brings about a great Wyrmish Darkness upon Talveria, blotting out the sky with inpenetrable shadows extending from its wings. Wyrms not encountered outside of this darkness begin manifesting. While most of these Wyrms do not actively harm people, they are rather unnerving to those who see them. This darkness lasts for half the year, Vengosa then leaves and those Wyrms disappear with it. The motive for this is entirely unknown, even to its own lesser and Elder Wyrms.

Vengosa was originally designed in 2021 and has changed quite a bit. Its body was still dark and cloak-like, but it was shaped like a completely ordinary western dragon and really stood out against the other Wyrmgods in a bad way. So, I removed its legs, tail, and most of its body, so it is now basically a flying torso. Even though the above artwork is getting old and I've certainly improved since then, I'm still very satisfied with the design. Like Iovien, it also has a very important part in my series, but I will not reveal it for quite some time.
