Little is actually known about the woman known as Riven, her real name is unknown and nobody knows where she lives, but what is known is that she wanders the lands of Valdramor hunting down beasts and monsters. Her left hand is missing and had been replaced with a metal hook, taken by an unknown monster she refers to as "Al-Jizār", or "The Butcher". During her travels, she has also been trying to learn the identity of this monster, so that one day she may hunt it down and slay it.

Riven is the protagonist of the book I am planning on writing once I finish the one which involves Dagran. She also technically has three names, they are the name she no longer goes by (as she is transgender, this one will never be revealed), her true name (kept secret for unknown reasons), and the one most know her by, Riven.
