Nightripper

Return to previous page.

Carcharognathus hamatus, or the Nightripper, is part of Anurodraco; a class of tailless dragon relatives. What looks to be empty eye sockets are actually facial discs which direct sounds into their ears. They are active predators, using their serrated talon to tear their prey apart. They are infrequently seen, not only due to their nocturnal lifestyle, but because of their low population numbers.

Its front legs are long and thin, ending in a large, serrated talon. Its hind legs are thicker and end in two small claws.
