Glathag are long-necked bipedal sophonts which mainly live in the Western Radioactive Plains, they mainly feed upon the uranium grasses and shrubs which are common in this region. It is not actually known where they came from, they were entirely absent from the world before the Apocalypse and only appeared shortly after it began. Any attempts to directly ask them where they came from have been unsuccessful, as they do not seem to understand what one means before claiming they have always been here. This has lead some to believe that the Glathag were actually invisible and potentially incorporeal before the Apocalypse, though there is currently no way to confirm this. Glathag culture is extremely varied, though most have a high regard for radioactivity, viewing it as a bringer of life. Strangely, humans do not seem to do well around these mutants, as they will fall very ill in their presence. This does not happen with any of the worlds native mutants, so this is believed to be a quirk of this new, extraterrestrial species.

This was the first mutant I made for this project in 2024. They are partially inspired by sauropods, specifically Nigersaurus.
