The Girugy is a massive, bipedal mutant which lacks eyes, ears, and nostrils, though it has an incredible sense of smell. While it appears to be covered in fluffy pink fur, these "hairs" are in fact sensory organs which it not only smells through, but can even detect light and dark. The Girugy is herbivorous and highly territorial, using its sense of smell to find fruit, rotting wood, and any intruders. Anything it cannot fully digest is transformed into a tar-like substance stored in an organ in its throat, the Girugy will then spew this substance at any potential threat. Their body is stocky and long, some humans have described it as resembling a pink, fuzzy sausage-dinosaur. Their forelimbs are held off of the ground and bear sharp claws, these are used for digging up its favorite type of food—the bulbous roots of the Glulgfruit plant.
