Eretragul are one-eyed, winged mutants which are almost entirely intangible, they are found exclusively in Stygia. The one tangible part of their body is their massive eye, though Eretragul are capable of temporarily becoming fully intangible when it is closed. They attack sophonts while they sleep in order to feed off of their pain, the scars they leave behind appear to be years old even when freshly inflicted. Eretragul appear to be connected to the Yleth in some way, when the latter implants itself somewhere, all Eretragul in the area will approach it and let themselves be consumed by the Yleth. The reason for this is unknown.
