Dagr'an Ka'Irengori

Return to previous page.

Dagran is a leucistic Arvog from the clan of Irengor, they serve as its head Wyrm researcher. After a particularly deadly attack on Irengor, conducted by Wyrms neither they nor any of their clanmates could recognize, they joined Kalgor's Wyrmkillers' Society in an attempt to discover what exactly these Wyrms were and why they attacked Irengor. Dagran is the current owner of a sword known as Arragoltha, one that was passed down from their birth-parent, its pale, curved blade appears to be made from the tooth of a great beast. They do not know the species the tooth originally belonged to, so Dagran believes it may be from a species that has since gone extinct.

Dagran is about 5'11 at the hip and is 19 feet in length. Their leucism causes their skin to be more vulnerable to the sun than that of the average Arvog.

Their name translates to "White Arvog from Irengor". Dagr is the Vosti word for "white" and the suffix "an" signifies a name belongs to an Arvog. Kalgoran Arvog like Dagran utilize their clan's name as a surname, the prefix Ka means "of" or "from", traditionally the letter "I" is added at the end of a surname but not all Arvog utilize it.

Notes

Originally, Dagran's backstory was going to be completely unknown as they were supposed to be the last surviving member of the Irengor clan, though I made many changes since that time, and now they are fortunately not the last of their clan. In their current form, they are much less experienced in combat than they were originally written, though they gain more skill later on once they join the Wyrmkillers. The red silk and gold borders of their robes show that they are a researcher, Arvog of different professions wear differently colored robes as a signifier of this.
