The Bilious Crocodrake

Return to previous page.

The Bilious Crocodrake, so named for its breath weapon and irritable personality, is a common dragon that is typically found in swamps and other wetlands, it is also one of the few remaining dragons that never lost its gills. They build their nests out of moss and lichen and will lay up to six eggs within it, the eggs will hatch in about forty days. Adult Crocodrakes will feed on fish and small terestrial vertebrates, while larvae feed on insects by shooting them from the air with water stored in their body. Their breath attack is a greenish acid which resembles bile. Their voice is rough and low.

Notes

This was the first ever dragon I made for this project, initially designed in 2018. It was originally a fire breather, but I felt like it didn't really fit the dragon.
