The Bullhunter

Return to previous page.

The Bullhunter is an uncommon, flightless dragon which is typically found in grasslands and deserts. They build communal nests out of mud, clay, and bones, they lay up to twelve stone-like eggs which take about 76 days to hatch. Adult Bullhunters hunt in groups of up to 10 dragons and prey upon other large beasts, they may even eat members of rival Bullhunter packs, while larvae feed upon sap and nectar. Their breath attack takes the form of a small burst of flame, though they prefer to use their horns. Their voice is deep and harsh.

ART

a quadrupedal winged dragon, its life stages, and miscellaneous information about it. The adult dragon is brown with a pale underside and resembles a bull. It has large forward facing horns, small wings, and a short tail. The larva is pale and grub-like with a pointed snout, it stands on four pairs of legs amd has three more pairs of legs which are held off the ground. The egg is dark and oval in shape. There are two drawings of just the dragon's head, the first is a front view and the second depicts it with its mouth open. There are also two sketches, the first is labeled 'standard flame' and depicts the dragon breathing fire, the second is labeled 'died' and depicts a stylized hunk of meat.

Notes

This dragon was originally designed in 2018, though I never finished it. The first piece of art was the first thing I drew in Rebelle 7. In their original incarnation, they lived in forests, caves, and mountains, I changed this once I decided to bring this dragon back for this project.
