"Raven's preference for contractors seems to be related to the degree of sympathy. It prefers contractors with a soft personality, if it sees you fall or be tricked in front of it, perhaps it would contract you immediately."
Unlike most other dragons, you contract the dark element Raven as part of the story (I don't exactly remember how it is obtained because it was pretty early on, but I'm pretty sure it was because the protagonist fell into a hole). Several of its skills focus on debuffs and statuses, and one of these skills will trigger instant death in an opponent which has enough debuffs inflicted on it. It isn't as overpowered as it sounds, as most bosses are immune to instant death. Onto its design, it is pretty much just a raven dragon, its body shape is somewhat leonine, making it sorta look like a gryphon. It's pretty cute and the blue/purple highlights on some of its feathers look very nice. It's a very pleasantly designed dragonbird and even though it's obtained early on, I still use it alongside Inkalhide when I need to quickly deal with non-boss dragons (as long as they aren't immune to instant death).
